Better Than Ezra: “In The Blood”
This song got a lot of radio play when it was around but never really dug its teeth into the cultural consciousness, which is a real shame, because it’s incredible. How ballsy is it to promote a song about
mature takes on commitment issues as a single? I mean, I guess if you have to follow up a smash single that sounds like a montage scene of the end of summer camp, you might as well just come out of left field on the next one.
Especially if the middle eight sounds like a Zelda II boss.
